Immobilise is used by police forces across the country to help reduce crime and return property to its rightful owners. It lets people register their belongings for free on a national database
You can use Immobilise to register your valued possessions such as phones, computers, games consoles cameras, bikes and jewellery.
When the police recover stolen or lost property we can check to see if they have been registered and use these details to help us to reunite rightful owners with their belongings. This can also help progress investigations.
Officers also work closely with second-hand and pawn shops to protect them from buying items that have been registered lost or stolen.
Please visit the Immobilise website and register the serial numbers of your belongings.
Even if you didn’t register your items before they were stolen it may not be too late. If you have the details please add them online. That way if someone tries to sell them onto a shop or if we recover them at a later date we will be able to return them to you.
