UPDATED ||Man convicted over Bilston murder
A man has been sentenced to life in prison for killing his friend in a drunken rage at his home in Wolverhampton.
Aleksejs Lusnikovs left Deniss Buzmakovs with serious head, chest and leg injuries after the attack in Beckett Street, Bilston, on the evening of 9 September last year.

The 42-year-old had been drinking with others from earlier in the day and became involved in a street fight with them during the afternoon.
Mr Buzmakovs, also 42, arrived at the home of his friend Lusnikovs soon after the trouble dispersed.

However, he was discovered at the address hours later with multiple injuries and pronounced dead at the scene.
There were clear signs of a disorder which included a broken chair which Lusnikovs is believed to have hit the victim with during the seemingly unprovoked attack.
Lusnikovs was promptly arrested and charged with murder. He was sentenced to life in prison to serve a minimum of 17 years in prison following a near two-week trial at Wolverhampton Crown Court.
