Three charged with drugs and firearms offences

Three men have been charged with a series of drugs and firearms offences after a number of search warrants were carried out in the Bedworth, Warwickshire area of the West Midlands.

Scott Moore aged 27 and Luke Moore also aged 27 were arrested in connection with the offences following a vehicle stop Holbrooks Lane, Coventry on Wednesday 6 March.

They have both been charged with the following:

Conspire to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life/enable an other to do so
Conspire to sell/transfer a pistol it being a prohibited weapon
Conspire to supply a class A controlled drug − cocaine
Conspire to supply a class B controlled drug − amphetamine

Kane Brown, aged 22 was arrested yesterday (8 March) and was this evening charged with the following:

Possess a firearm of length less than 30cm / 60cm - prohibited weapon
Acquire/use/possess criminal property
Possess with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class B - Cannabis

All three have been remanded in custody and will appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court on Monday 11 March.
