Teenager charged with Small Heath murder

Detectives investigating the death of Abdullah Muhammed in Birmingham have charged a teenager with his murder.

Demille Innis, aged 19 from Pugh Crescent, Walsall, was arrested on Monday (11 March) following the fatal stabbing of 16-year-old Abdullah in Herbert Road, Small Heath on the evening of Wednesday 20 February. 

Innis, also charged with two counts of robbery and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, is due to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court this morning (Thursday 14 March).
