It’s alleged they were part of a sophisticated burglary gang that took advantage of darker nights between November and January to target affluent properties, on the hunt for jewellery and other valuables, before flying back to Romania in the New Year.

The date of the conspiracy they’ve been charged with stretches from 2015 to 10 December 2018 when the group were arrested.

It’s claimed they struck at 100s of homes in the West Midlands and into parts of West Mercia, Staffordshire and Gloucestershire.

Following today’s hearing they were remanded into prison and are next scheduled to appear back at Birmingham Crown Court on 5 April for a plea and case management hearing.
