The 18-year-old from Shustoke Road, Shard End, has now been remanded in custody to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court tomorrow (17 August).

A post mortem examination revealed that Mr Teer, aged 20, died as a result of a gunshot wound.

Detectives are still keen to hear from anyone with information which can assist with enquiries.

They can be contacted via Live Chat at west-midlands.police.uk between 8am and midnight, call 101 anytime, or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

**Sharn Miles, 19, of Gowan Road, Alum Rock, was also charged with murder earlier this week.
