Police issue urgent appeal following Coventry arson attack

We’re urgently appealing for information into an arson attack in Coventry this morning (13 January).

Officers were called to Hall Lane just after 6.30am to reports that two cars had been set on fire.

An investigation is underway and two people have already been arrested on suspicion of arson. They are both are in police custody, and will be questioned in due course.

Detectives looking into what happened are now appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened to get in touch.

They believe there would have been lots of people in the area when the cars were set on fire because Hall Lane is close to University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire and many people use the road as a short cut.

Anyone with information can get in touch via Live Chat between 8am and midnight, or call 101 anytime.

To remain anonymous please call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.  Tell them what you know, not who you are. Please quote crime number 20CV/10905C/20
