Police investigating stabbing in Frankley

Police are investigating after being called to reports of a stabbing in New Street, Frankley at 8pm last night (3 September). 

It’s believed that a 21-year-old man was chased by three other men, one of which may have been riding a bike, before being attacked. He was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition. 

CCTV enquiries are ongoing and investigations remain in the early stages to establish the events leading up to the attack.
