Man charged with Zombie knife possession on bus
We’ve charged a man who’s alleged to have boarded a bus in Birmingham with a large Zombie knife hidden down his trousers.
Our armed police responded to a 999 call at 6.15pm on Tuesday and stopped the number 63 bus as it travelled along Bristol Road South.
It followed reports of a disorder nearby and suggestions a woman was being chased by someone armed with a knife.
They spoke to three men on the bus’s top deck and arrested one on suspicion of knife possession.
Haatin Davis, from Little Hall Road in Nechells, was charged last night with possessing an offensive weapon in public and appeared in court today (1 April).
The 31-year-old was remanded into prison ahead of a Crown Court appearance.
