Man charged in Walsall murder investigation
A man is due to appear at court today charged with the murder of a man who was found dead at a house in Walsall on Monday (24 May).
Bradley Pye, aged 24, of Broad Lane, Walsall, was arrested later that evening on suspicion of murder, and will appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court.
Detectives have named the man found at the house as Lee Gadd, his family have today paid tribute to him as a ‘family man’.
Officers gained entry to the property in Broad Lane, Bloxwich, at around 10.15am on Monday following concerns for the welfare of Mr Gadd, aged 51. He was sadly confirmed dead at the scene.
A forensic post mortem will take place in due course to establish the cause of death.
Mr Gadd’s family said: “No words can describe the pain we are suffering.
“We are a devastated family with the loss of our Lee, he was a dedicated father and family man.
“He was a funny, caring and loyal person, and a huge hole has been left in our family and our hearts.
“Our lives will never be the same again."
