Man charged with murder of James Teer

Detectives investigating the fatal shooting of James Teer in Erdington have this evening (14 August) charged a man with murder.

Sharn Miles was yesterday arrested on suspicion of killing Mr Teer in Goosemore Lane last Thursday (8 August). 

The 19-year-old of Gowan Road, Alum Rock, has now been remanded in custody to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court tomorrow.

A post mortem examination revealed that Mr Teer, aged 20, died as a result of a gunshot wound.

Detectives are still keen to hear from anyone with information which can assist with enquiries.
