Man charged with firearms offences in Coventry

 We’ve charged a man with firearms offences after a loaded shotgun was found following a motorbike crash in Coventry last month. 
 
A West Midlands Police dog tracked a discarded bike helmet and loaded shotgun at the scene of a motorbike crash in St James Lane on 25 July. 
 
On Thursday, officers executed a warrant at an address in the Willenhall area of Coventry where a 26-year-old was arrested on suspicion of firearms offences. 
 
Shaun Paul Reeves, from Willenhall in Coventry, has been charged with possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, possession of a firearm without a license, aggravated vehicle taking, failing to stop at a road traffic collision, harassment and other driving offences. 

The 26-year-old is due to appear at Leamington Magistrates Court today (17 August).
