Man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder

A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a teen was shot in the face on Monday evening (3 December).

The 19-year-old, who was shot on Braceby Avenue, Billesley just after 6.30pm, suffered pellet wounds to his head and shoulder. He has undergone surgery to remove the pellets; his injuries are not life threatening or life changing.

A 25-year-old was arrested from an address in Yardley Wood last night, and remains in custody this morning.
