Fourth man charged in Ladywood murder investigation

We have charged a fourth man with murder following the fatal stabbing of Bashir Mohamed in Birmingham last month.

Ibrahim Raza was arrested yesterday (10 May) in connection with the killing and remanded overnight.

The 32-year-old, of Oldfield Road, Birmingham was due to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court this morning (11 May). 

Mr Mohamed, from Erdington, was found critically injured in Shyltons Croft, Ladywood, just before 4.20am on 22 April and sadly died at the scene from a stab wound to his arm.

Three other men, aged 24, 26 and 30, have previously been charged with murder and also remanded into custody.
