Dudley father accused of child’s death

A Dudley man has appeared before magistrates this morning (30 April) charged with the death of his five-month-old daughter in September 2017.

Philip Peace, aged 42, appeared at Wolverhampton Magistrates court charged with murder. He was remanded to appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court tomorrow.

The five-month-old girl was taken to hospital in cardiac arrest on 8 September 2017 where she sadly died the next day. 

Following an extensive investigation, Peace was arrested in May of the following year and was charged yesterday (29 April).
