Drug dealer who led police on 100mph pursuit jailed

A drug dealer who led police on a 100mph pursuit has been jailed for nearly five years.

Banned driver Jack Speed, 21, failed to stop for our traffic officers when they tried to pull him over in Erdington just after 11pm on 2 January.

In-car footage shows how Speed lost control of the BMW 1 series before the pursuit continued.

He reached speeds of 100mph, including 80mph in a 30mph zone, and was seen slamming on his brakes as he tried to escape

Speed raced through a red light at 70mph, moments before losing control and crashing into a wall and a parked car on Digby Road.
