Birmingham man charged with drugs and firearms offences
A Birmingham man is due to appear in court next month charged in connection with supplying class A drugs after cocaine was seized from a house in Halesowen.
Officers from Dudley executed a warrant at the address yesterday morning (23 June).
During a search they found a quantity of cocaine, a large sum of cash, a handgun and ammunition. The items were seized along with three vehicles linked to people who live at the address.
Anton Nash, aged 33, and of Payton Road, Handsworth has since been charged with being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs, possession with intent to supply cocaine, possession of a handgun, ammunition and criminal property.
He initially appeared at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court this morning (Wednesday) and was remanded into custody.
Nash will next appear before Wolverhampton Crown Court on Wednesday 22 July.
