A man has pleaded guilty to manslaughter after a woman was found with fatal injuries at a house in Perry Bar last summer. 

Inderjit Ram pleaded guilty to stabbing 63-year-old Belinda Rose, a friend and colleague who he had known and worked with for years.

We’ve charged two teenagers tonight with the murder of Babacar Diagne, who was stabbed to death in Coventry last week.

The 15-year-old boys will appear before magistrates in the city tomorrow morning (Tuesday).

A third teenage boy has been arrested this morning (10 February) as officers investigate the murder of Babacar Diagne. 

The 17-year-old was arrested in Coventry shortly before 10am today and taken into custody to be questioned.

Four albums containing lots of images dating back to the 1920s were discovered at Old Hill police station before it was auctioned off last year.

Detectives have been granted extra time to question a 15-year-old boy on suspicion of murdering Babacar Diagne in Coventry.

Babacar was found collapsed on grassland off Petitor Crescent, Wood End, at around 7pm on Wednesday having been stabbed. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Leonard Lowe, known as Terry, is believed to have been struck by a vehicle on the northbound carriageway near the Newton Road bridge at around 7am.

Officers stopped a car in the Wood End area at around 2pm this afternoon (7 Feb) and arrested a 15-year-old lad on suspicion of murder.

A man has been charged with murder following the death of his wife at a house on Trehernes Drive, Stourbridge, last month.

Gian Bhandal, aged 82, was found with fatal injuries on 23 January and her death was initially treated as unexplained.
