A man has been jailed after stealing a television from a flat in Coventry, which was later described as 'worthless'. 
 
Ijah Cumberbatch was seen breaking into a vacant flat on Brunswick Road, Earlsdon on 20 May before he was seen leaving carrying the TV and getting into a taxi.

Arsonists who torched a car in a residential street have been jailed after their alibi backfired and we caught them less than two hours later smelling of petrol.

James Connolly and Sean Gillon doused two cars parked in Hall Lane, Coventry, with fuel at around 6am on 13 January 2020.

We’re appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Coventry last night (20 June) that left a biker critically ill in hospital.

The motorbike collided with a black VW Golf in Bedworth Road, between Oban Road and Ibstock Road, at around 7.45pm.

We have charged two people over the death of a six-year-old boy from Solihull.

Officers were called to a house in Cranmore Road at around 3pm on Tuesday (16 June) where Arthur Labinjo-Hughes was found unresponsive.

Petricia Gheorghita raped two Coventry sex workers, and tried to rape a third, between August and November last year.

A man and woman have been arrested after a six-year-old child from Solihull was taken to hospital with serious head injuries on Tuesday (16 June). Sadly the boy died in the early hours of the following morning.

A man has been charged after a firearm was found in a car in West Bromwich. 

The revolver was found in the centre console of a Renault Megane on Nicholls Street shortly before 8pm on 15 June. 

Both the car and the gun have been recovered for forensic examination.

A disqualified driver has been jailed today (16 June) after hitting a pensioner and leaving him for dead in Nertheton, Dudley in March. 

Reece Dunkley was driving along Simms Lane in a Seat Leon, which he had stolen from his ex-partner only hours earlier.
