The family of Anthony Treadgold have paid tribute to him, after his body was discovered in Coventry last week.
We launched an appeal on 1 November, after we were alerted to Anthony’s disappearance, and we called on the public for help in locating him.

Three men entered the 90-year-old’s home through the back door and dragged her out of bed telling her that there had been an explosion.

One of our call handlers has been praised for the care and compassion she offered a toddler who dialled 999 to say his mum had fallen down a flight of stairs.
Morgane Amphlett took the call just before 2pm on 12 November from the boy who simply said “help” and that his mummy was hurt.
Murder arrest after pensioner found dead in Halesowen
We’ve arrested a 44-year-old man on suspicion of murder after a pensioner was found dead in Halesowen earlier this week.
Our officers gained entry to a home in Manor Lane on Monday (15 November) following concerns raised by neighbours who had not seen the man for several days.
