We want to trace this man after a police officer was dragged along the road by a car in Birmingham.

We’ve identified Mohammed Banaras as a prime suspect after the officer was pulled around 50ft on Percy Road, Sparkhill, on Saturday (8 August).

We are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after an 18-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound in Coventry in the early hours of Saturday (8 August).

Officers were alerted after reports of shots being fired at Edgwick Park, at around 1am.

We’ve charged a seventh person with conspiring to kill a man who was shot dead in a drive-by shooting in Birmingham last year.

Wasim Hussain, from Gerrard Street in Lozells, was charged on Friday (7 August) with conspiring to murder Dante Mullings in Ladywood on 7 May 2019.

We are investigating after a man died after a car collided with a bus shelter in Dudley last night (Friday 7 August).

Officers were called to Sandyfields Road, Sedgley, at around 11.30pm after reports that a Ford Focus had struck a bus shelter.
