Police in Wolverhampton continue reassurance patrols following a shooting in the city yesterday afternoon (19 April). 

Officers received reports that shots were fired at a house in Wolverhampton, injuring a six-year-old boy, just before 4pm.

Officers and paramedics were called to Arran Way in Smith’s Wood just after 11:15pm on 29 March, following reports a man had been stabbed.

Detectives investigating after shots were fired at a house in Wolverhampton, injuring a six-year-old boy, just before 4pm this afternoon (Friday 19 April) have arrested two men.

A 17-year-old and a 24-year-old were arrested on suspicion of wounding. They are both in police custody.

Detectives investigating the murder of Leneto Kellengbeck have arrested a man on suspicion of murder.

The 24-year-old was arrested last night from an address in Smith’s Wood area and is currently in police custody; he will be questioned later today.

A Birmingham man has been jailed for stabbing his colleague and father-of-two, Bile Mohammed Siyad in November last year. 

Abdul Khaya and Mr Siyad, who worked together at a delivery warehouse, had a falling out over a small sum of money earlier that week.
