Detectives investigating a double stabbing at a club in Northfield have released CCTV in a bid to trace those involved.

Officers were called to reports of disorder at around 2.20am on Saturday 9 March at Medleys on Bristol Road South.

A woman is in a critical condition following a collision in Aston last night (18 March).

A Seat Leon failed to stop for officers on Aston Church Road, Nechells, at 10.26pm yesterday. A pursuit ensued, but was abandoned when the Leon took a wrong exit off a roundabout.

Dr Timothy Evans, who worked at the Queen Elizabeth and Good Hope hospitals as a registrar, encouraged the victim to reveal intimate parts of her body.

A knifeman who stabbed a neighbour so forcefully that the blade snapped has been jailed for nine years.

David Whyte left the victim with a collapsed lung and dislocated shoulder after the attack in Tew Park Road, Handsworth, Birmingham, on 26 September last year.
