Appeal for information after man exposes himself to schoolgirls
We are appealing for information on a string of incidents in which a man reportedly exposed himself to schoolgirls in the Small Heath area of Birmingham.
We are currently investigating five separate incidents from Monday 7 October to Friday 25 October where girls, either walking to or from school, were approached by a man in a car which is described as silver or grey, possibly a Toyota C-HR.
Two of the offences were reported in Monica Road, with others in Waverley Road, Heybarns Road and Broadway Avenue in Bordesley Green.
The man is described as being Asian or light skinned and aged in his 30s.
A 49-year-old man was arrested in relation to the investigation and has been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
Detective Inspector Joe Davenport from the force's public protection unit, said: "Although none of the girls were physically harmed in any of these incidents, we understand this would have been a traumatic time for them.
"We are appealing for witnesses to come forward with any information, no matter how small you may believe this information may be, it could help with our investigation.”
