We’re investigating a serious collision in Birmingham city centre last night and we need your help.
A car collided with a cyclist just before 2am this morning (22 December) on Old Snow Hill near St Chads Queensway.
The cyclist – a 49-year-old man- was taken to hospital with serious head injuries.
The driver stopped at the scene and is assisting us with our enquires.
There are currently some road closures in place while we forensically examine the scene.
Detective Sergeant Paul Hughes, from our serious collision investigation unit, said: “We’re trying to understand what happened during the early hours of this morning and need anyone who saw anything, or has any dash cam footage, to get in touch as soon as they can.”
