Appeal following a collision in Wolverhampton

We are appealing for information following a serious collision in Wolverhampton on Tuesday (23 June).

Officers were called to Wood End Avenue in Wood End at about 8.20pm, where a 39-year-old motorcyclist was found with a leg injury.

The man was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

The driver of the black Vauxhall Astra remained at the scene and continues to help us with our enquiries.

Sergeant Dean Caswell from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “Our enquiries are continuing to establish what happened that evening.

"I am really keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the black Vauxhall Astra or motorcycle before the collision took place and I would also ask anyone who has any dashcam footage of the collision to get in touch."

Anyone with any information can contact us via Live Chat at www.west-midlands.police.uk, quoting log 4448 23 June, or calling Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
