Appeal after motorcyclist seriously injured in collision in Walsall

We're appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a motorcyclist suffered serious injuries following a collision in Walsall yesterday (Wednesday 20 May).

The 40-year-old rider was struck by a car turning off Bentley Road North into Anson Way at about 4.10pm. He remains in a stable condition in hospital.

The driver remained at the scene and is helping police with their enquiries.

Sgt Dean Caswell from our Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: "We’re keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and has not already spoken to officers.

"We would also ask anyone with dashcam footage to get in touch as we continue with our investigations."

Contact us via Live Chat at www.west-midlands.police.uk, quoting log 3149 of 20 May, or calling Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
