Husband of Chelmsley Wood murder victim charged

Police have charged a man with the murder of Tracy Stonehouse who was found fatally stabbed at an address in Chelmsley Wood last week. 
Arthur Stonehouse, of Coralin Close in Chelmsley Wood was arrested for the 51-year-old’s murder on Friday 6 April, after his wife Tracy’s body was discovered at the address at around 1.25am.
The retired 73-year-old who was arrested and then taken to hospital after being taken ill, was charged this evening (Sunday 15 April).
A post mortem examination established that Tracy suffered multiple stab wounds and other injuries to her head and neck.
Arthur Stonehouse is due to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court tomorrow (Monday 16 April).
