Several female members of WMP staff have alleged that they were subject to sexually inappropriate behaviour by PS Humpston. This occurred whilst working in the Custody Suite at Perry Barr between June 2017 and July 2018. 
On 24th January 2020 PS Humpston pleaded guilty to an offence of ‘Battery’. He received a £450 fine, or serve 7 days imprisonment in default, £45 victim surcharge and £150 costs.
