Diamond Awards 2018 - 2019

The West Midlands Police Diamond Awards is celebrating seven years of recognising officers, staff and the public who have acted above and beyond the call of duty. Now we need your help to identify individuals and teams who over the last year have made a significant contribution to making the West Midlands a safer place to live, work and visit.

Diamond Awards

Every hour of every day, the force has a dedicated team of officers and staff who work tirelessly to prevent crime, protect communities and offer the hand of friendship to those in need.

The Diamond Awards allows officers, staff, partners and the community the opportunity to recognise and reward West Midlands police personnel who deliver a service that friends and family would be proud of. If you know of a deserving police officer, PCSO, police staff, special constable or team who deserve to be recognised then this is your chance to show what they mean to you. The judges will be particularly looking out for nominees who have embraced the force’s values:

  • I prevent crime
  • I offer friendship and service
  • I am courageous and fair
  • I listen and learn
  • I am proud of what I do

All you have to do is take a few minutes to complete the electronic nomination form here. Alternatively you can download and print a nomination form. You can also find out more about this year’s award categories here. The closing date for nominations is Friday 14th December 2018.

A panel of judges from across the force will decide the worthy winners before presenting the awards at the Diamond Awards Ceremony in April 2019.

Thank you for recognising the great work of West Midlands Police and our partners.
